Pedestrian names Josephine Rozenberg-Clarke as its new editor

Nine Entertainment Co’s youth focused website Pedestrian has hired Yahoo7’s entertainment editor Josephine Rozenberg-Clarke as the publication’s new editor.

She replaces Vanessa Lawrence who departed the company to take up a role as deputy editor of Qantas Magazine.

Rozenberg-Clarke has taken the helm of Pedestrian.TV

Rozeberg-Clarke joins from Yahoo7, where she worked under contract as entertainment editor.

Prior to that she was editor of Dolly Magazine before Bauer Media axed the publication as well as features editor across both Dolly Magazine and Cleo.

Chris Wirashina, co-founder of Pedestrian, said the new editor was not afraid to make “bold editorial decisions”.  “Josie possessed the elusive combo of editorial management experience and an in-depth cultural understanding of the Pedestrian brand and tone,” Wirasinha said.

“Josie will continue the outstanding work of our existing team and lead upcoming initiatives including Pez and the launch of our 3 new verticals across Auto, Home & Start-ups.”
