Judith Lucy joins Rove lineup
Judith Lucy is one of two new faces to replace Dave Huges and Carrie Bickmore on the Rove couch when the show returns to Ten on Sunday.
The comedian, an occasional Rove guest, has also previously toured with Rove regular Pete Helliar.
Bickmore and Hughes left Rove for the launch of The 7PM Project which is also made by Roving Productions. The daily show is yet to find a strong audience.
Sunday’s Rove will see guests include Katy Perry and Judd Apatow. A new newsreader will also be unveiled.
Thats sad, I really like Judith Lucy, its a shame to see her going to that comedic graveyard.

Cannot stand Judith Lucy! Only seems fitting she joins the hour of blandness that is Rove.

The risk with Judith Lucy, as one Sydney FM station discovered, is that she polarises people. You love her wit or can’t stand her whining.
I’m in the latter camp – her humour, her attitude and even her voice come across as whinging, carping, and nothing is all that ‘funny’.
Rove must be hoping she holds onto viewers, and even attracts some more, rather than causes existing ones to switch off en masse.
