July 20, 2016 – Eleven: Moving: American Gothic, BrainDead, Sleepy Hollow
Eleven is making a number of changes for its underperforming American dramas effective immediately.
American Gothic will not air this Sunday July 24 as planned, but instead move to Saturday nights starting July 30 at 10:30pm.
Sleepy Hollow will move forward an hour and air at 9:30pm Mondays instead of its traditional 8:30 slot starting Monday July 25. Repeats of The Simpsons will fill the 8:30 slot.
BrainDead will move to the graveyard shift of midnight on Mondays. The show will not air at all on Monday July 25 but return the following Monday, August 1 at midnight.
Salem and The Strain will finish their seasons next week, however, Eleven will not move straight into the new seasons, meaning these episodes will sit on the shelf.
Don’t do this!
Some of us watch American gothic and couldn’t find it listed for next Sunday night
Last Sunday nights episode advertised it as being scheduled for next Sunday.
Please air when a move is made like this!
Not happy

Don’t care when you put it on as long as you keep showing the excellent Braindead. It explains the US so well.

Well ….., I am really peeved. I was hooked on that show …. I can’t possibly stay up late watching tv. Disappointed. Big time.

I am sick & tired of TV channels constantly moving shows around & not keeping viewers advised. As viewers of some of these shows, we are essentially “customers” of the TV channels. Therefore, they have an obligation to keep the customer informed. Lift your game!

Very disappointed that American Gothic is changing nights and time slots, a great show, very different and extremely entertaining.
If channel ten ( who I think own ch.11) spent a bit on promoting this fabulous show it may well have rated better. It deserved to have some promotion.

So annoyed, Channel 10/11. Now the show will have an even smaller audience. What a stupid time slot, 10.30 on Saturdays.

This is very disappointing. The only 5 programs I watch and they are changing them or taking them off.
I will be unable to watch BrainDead as I have to get up at 4.45am for work, which I have watched every episode since it has been aired. Now American Gothic which I just love will be on to late. The Strain and Harlem will be sitting on the shelf . So I guess I should think I’m lucky I can watch Sleepy Hollow.
Thanks channel Eleven I cant believe you would prefer to put repeats of the Simpsons on, which I have never watched and I will not start watching.
I’m afraid to say that you have lost 3 viewers in my household.
Considering channel Eleven was my favorite channel how things change. I new this merging with channel Nine would be a bad thing.
Soooo disappointed.

I have to say I am fed with t.v Chanel’s changing times on programs or getting rid of them altogether. I love watching Sleepy Hollow and have watched it ever since it started I much prefer at 8.30, but I suppose I’m lucky it’s only an hour later.

Please leave Brain Dead on at 9.30. This show is great. Funny, dark and quirky. I only saw the first episode by accident as a replay. It should have been promoted more.

If Channel 10 is going to sit on these shows forever the least they can do is allow follow up seasons to be available on iTunes. I am loving Salem and don’t want to have to twiddle my thumbs for 12-18 months waiting for Channel 10 to drag its feet on showing or not showing season 2.

Move Sleepy Hollow and put on repeats of The Sumpsons we’ve seen thousands of times! Disappointed

Channel 11, stop doing this to me! Braindead is one of my favourites.. I wait all week to watch it and BOOM without notice it’s pretty much gone. Sad face.

Braindead started a bit slowly but is actually really fun and clever. As long as they put it on so I can record it I am happy.

This seems to be a trend with Channel 10/11, show a couple episodes of a series they have been advertising for weeks as a huge hit in USA, show a couple of shows then it disappears or ends up in the midnight time slot. I don’t watch the repeated replacements I watch my second choice on another channel. Give these shows a chance to build an audience …..

Good on you ten network. How many times have and other channels done this, no promotions on air, absolutely nothing. How can you even know after 2 airings that American Gothic is underproducing? No one asked me or any of the other people I know that likes it.
You decided not to renew Supernatural some years back and it wasn’t until after massive uproar from viewers that you decided you’d made a mistake.
As I’ve said so many times, whoever does your programming hasn’t got a clue.

Thanks for the heads up on program changes Channel Eleven. After so many cancelled shows from America I assumed that these programs (not listed in any of newspaper program guides that I could see) it had been sent to ‘Damien’ and a witch series (not Witches of East End) ‘heaven’. Trying to find Brain Dead ha ha. Now it is on ten play. Sorry for not having a smarty pants tv but do not like watching programs on smaller screen computer. Will buy the bloody series if they release them to DVD.
