July 22, 2016: Nine/9GO – Moving: Top Gear
That didn’t last long at all. After just a single episode of the new Top Gear aired in 2 markets, Nine has swiftly moved the rebooted series to 9GO. Nine were not even patient enough to see the ratings results for the other 3 markets (Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth). The show will now air as a network on 9GO beginning Monday July 25 at 8pm.
There is a silver lining here though with the show now airing in all markets at the same time and the chances of keeping its timeslot until the end of the season is dramatically higher being on 9GO. The Footy Show (both editions) were also affected by the scheduling of Top Gear and can now air at 8:30pm.
