Kathmandu and Vice release new content series via We Are Social

Outdoor retail brand Kathmandu and youth media publication Vice Australia have partnered to release a content series, “Out there with…”, by We Are Social.

The first episode stars musician Nick Littlemore, from Empire of the Sun and Pnau, and foraging expert Diego Bonetto.

In the episode, Littlemore and Bonetto forage for mushrooms in pine forests in southern New South Wales.

Each episode in the series will explore a different aspect of the outdoors, including foraging and dog walking.

Eva Barrett, chief customer officer at Kathmandu, said: “We’re thrilled to team with VICE and We Are Social on this partnership. At Kathmandu, we know that nature changes our brains for the better and we can’t wait to highlight just how many great subcultures there are in the outdoors.”

Photographs from the series will be released on Kathmandu’s owned channels.

Edu Pou, executive creative director at We Are Social, added: “Nothing is quite like discovering a place first-hand. And ‘Out there’ is a place. Exploring specific outdoor subcultures, we aim to go beyond the expected and inspire our audience to start their own journeys.”

Kathmandu’s previous campaign, which We Are Social was involved with, was released last month.
