Kidspot launches one-shot print edition

News Corp’s parenting site Kidspot has launched a one-off magazine print edition.

The title, which offers features on parenting advice on topics like how to build a child’s self esteem and how to entertain children without resorting to screens, will be distributed in Coles, Woolworths and newsagents.

Kidspot: Now in print

In a note to readers, editor Melissa Wilson said: “As a mum of two little people, I know what it’s like to experience the extreme highs and lows of parenthood. You lay awake at night worrying that your baby is feeding or sleeping enough, or that they’re making friends in their first year of school. Then you wake up to those squishy cuddles that make it all worthwhile.

“Becoming a parent can be the most incredible experience of your life, but it can also be daunting, relentless and overwhelming.

“Having the backs of parents is what we do – both online and now, in print. Packed with quick and easy recipes, advice and tips from experts on children’s behaviour and health, loads of things to do – from craft to breaks away – to the latest family news such as changes to government assistance and child care rebates.”
