My Kitchen Rules dominated the week’s ratings taking Seven to a win

My Kitchen Rules dominated week six of the 2017 non-ratings period, being the only non-news program to reach the million mark, making Seven the overall winner for the week.

My Kitchen Rules dominated the ratings to be the most watched program for the week pulling in its highest audience of the season on Tuesday February 8 with 1.401m, in front of Monday night’s 1.340m, Wednesday night’s 1.201 and Sunday night’s 1.193m viewers.

My Kitchen Rules was also the most watched program across key advertising demographics 25-54, 16-39 and grocery buyers, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Seven’s premiere of Murder Uncovered was the second most watched non-news program for the week, debuting on Wednesday February 8 and averaging 957,000 viewers.

Sunday Night news was the most popular for the 6:00pm news bulletin as Seven pulled 1.106m metro viewers while Nine managed 1.040m, the only night to reach the millions for news.

In overall audience share Seven won the week with 39.7% ahead of Nine’s 36% and Ten’s 24.3%.

While Nine managed the largest share amongst people 16-39 with 38.3% ahead of Seven’s 35.6% and Ten’s 26.1%. Nine also managed the largest share for people aged 25-54 with 37.1% beating Seven’s 36.1% and Ten’s 26.8%.
