Kogan named as Australia’s most mobile-ready website

Online retailer Kogan has Australia’s most mobile-friendly website, according to research carried out by technology agency Ansible.

The research assessed Australia’s top “mobile ready” sites based on five criteria it lists as mobile optimisation; discoverability; navigation and content; usability and “driving desired actions”.

Australian TV companies Ten and Nine also make Ansible’s local “MDEX” top ten:

  1. Kogan
  2. McGrath Property
  3. General Pants Co
  4. The Iconic
  5. Lion Corporation
  6. David Jones
  7. Ten Network
  8. Nine Entertainment Co
  9. Myer
  10. Billabong

Ansible is owned by IPG Mediabrands and led globally by Australian executive Travis Johnson.

On the global list, Facebook is listed as the top brand:
