Australian creative agency and content production company KONTENTED has today announced Luke Cook will be joining the company as Director of Brand Partnerships in a newly created role. This is the latest executive appointment at KONTENTED, with the agency celebrating its fourth birthday at a sparkling event in Sydney last night.

Luke Cook joins KONTENTED from Authentic Entertainment where he held the role of Sydney Sales Director for the past three years of his eight years in the business. Cook has 15 years’ experience in content creation, media amplification and brand/consumer insights. Cook, along with Adam Noakes and Shae Constantine, will round out the executive team at KONTENTED, while Founder and Managing Director Kate Edwards enjoys maternity leave until early 2016.

On Cook’s appointment, Edwards said, “2015 has been a huge year for us at KONTENTED and we are thrilled to have attracted the likes of Cookie to our growing team. It was really important to round out our offering in brand partnerships and high-level executive collaboration whilst I take maternity leave, and Luke couldn’t be better suited to the task. His long tenure and solid working relationship with hundreds of amazing clients on thousands of great content lead, strategic solutions makes him a perfect extension to our KONTENTED brand.”

On joining KONTENTED, Cook said, “Joining the team at KONTENTED will allow me to get closer to understanding the real pressure points that clients are experiencing in today’s fragmented media and marketing landscape. It’s no longer good enough to ‘spray & pray’ with above the line comms, media placement and sponsorships – the real challenge for brands is to connect with their customers in today’s world and truly engage them. I’m thrilled to be joining Kate and the world-class team of collaborators that surround KONTENTED. It is a business built on integrity, hard work and most importantly strategic and creative thinking. I am really looking forward to helping build what is already a successful business.”

The appointment of Cook brings KONTENTED’s new executive team to four people, with a fifth and final executive announcement coming in the next few weeks along with some more exciting client news.

Last night over 100 guests celebrated KONTENTED’s fourth birthday at Harpoon Harry’s in Surry Hills. KONTENTED’s entire group of companies including sister businesses Fostered and Intersection were showcased at the event. Electronic artist GRMM performed tracks from his upcoming EP and Fostered was also represented with live art from Bafact, Capiche, Lady J and Matthew Gillett.

At the celebration, Edwards said, “To all our wonderful clients, brand and broadcast partners, we want to thank you for four amazing years in business. It’s a tough industry with high standards and we are extremely grateful to be growing into one of the largest independent agencies in the market. Watch this space, 2015 is only half way through…..we’ve got plenty to show you lot yet! ”
