La Roche-Posay engages production company MOO for new destigmatising campaign
L’Oréal’s La Roche-Posay has engaged production company MOO for a new campaign in an effort to destigmatise skin disorders.
Telling the story of five ‘Skin Life-Changers’ – five participants who have been on skincare journeys – the work invites them to share their challenging journeys, with hopes everyday Australians can relate.
The campaign also engages five dermatologists who help people like the ‘Skin Life-Changers’ on a daily basis.
“It has been a pleasure working with MOO on the La Roche-Posay Skin Life Changers digital campaign,” said Holly Roach, marketing manager at La Roche-Posay.
“2 billion people live with skin concerns that can profoundly impact how they feel about their skin. We, at La Roche-Posay, believe that skin is more than skin: we see people we care about and for whom we continue to innovate. We believe we need to talk openly about skin and its challenges, to offer support to those who need it.”
Roach said MOO understood the brand’s needs from the outset, and “did an excellent job in helping us champion those sharing their real skin stories and showcase doctors we partner with who help move dermatology forward”.
She concluded: “The team produce high quality content and are extremely creative, agile and responsive. We look forward to working together in the future.”
Jake Weatherson, senior producer at MOO, said being approached by a brand like La Roche-Posay requires a careful and genuine attitude.
“Jono [Cowan – director] created an inviting and safe space both physically in set design and emotionally in his direction,” he said. “DoP Dan Hartley-Allen found the perfect balance of beauty and emotive shooting which a brand such as LRP is deserving of and demands.
“It was an absolute privilege to work with LRP, their team trusted us, our process, and our team, and were truly proud of the result.”
