Landor Melbourne appoints Tony Lee as strategy director

Landor Melbourne has created a strategy director role, appointing FutureBrand’s strategy director Tony Lee.

Lee was the strategy director at FutureBrand for eight months, joining from his former role as strategy director at the Ntegrity agency, where he worked for almost two years.

Lee said: “The new Landor offers a great opportunity for me to work holistically with brands”

Nick Davis, managing partner at Landor Melbourne, said in a statement: “Tony is a great addition to our growing team. He’s someone with brand and digital agency experience who has also led
transformation projects on the client side. In Tony we have someone who will help drive our capabilities in the space where brands, products, services and technology intersect.”

The appointment comes six months after Landor and Designworks announced a merger to form one agency.

James Sterling, ECD at Landor Melbourne, said: “He brings not only strategic branding expertise but also a digital-first mindset as we look to build exciting brands and experiences for our clients. I’m delighted to have him onboard.”

Landor Melbourne’s clients inclue Officeworks, 7-Eleven, City of Melbourne, KraftHeinz, Tennis Australia and Medibank.

Lee said: “In this user-first era, brands must become clearer and more nuanced to genuinely influence customer experiences. The merger of Landor and Designworks has culminated in a smartly-run agency culture that builds, activates and extends brands end-to-end.”
