Lateral Event Management appoints Megan Peters as GM
Megan Peters will start as general manager of Lateral Event Management in June as her predecessor Jette Baggs Sargood takes maternity leave.

Lateral Event Management has the pleasure to announce that Megan Peters will join the Lateral team from 1st June as General Manager, the role occupied by Jette Baggs Sargood, who is due to have her second child in July.
‘Megan is one of the industry’s shining lights’ said Lateral CEO Simon Baggs, ‘we are more than thrilled to have Megan on the Lateral team to work across our corporate, public theatre and mass participation events. While all of us in the events industry are on a hiatus at the moment, we very much look forward to getting back to work later in the year with Megan in our vanguard’.
‘I’d like to recognise the work Jette has done in the past few years, navigating a myriad of events and challenges to create one of the most dynamic and well-oiled event teams in the industry’, said Baggs. ‘We look forward to welcoming her back next year, in a part-time business development capacity’.
Megan Peters said ‘I am thrilled and honoured to have been offered the role of General Manager of Lateral Events and I have accepted the role with great enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation. I have known Simon over a decade now and have a huge amount of respect for him and for Lateral Events. I am looking forward to working with Simon and his team on the events that I have admired from afar for many years.’
