Here’s a roundup of some of the newest ads which went to air across the weekend.

Comparethemarket.com.au has a new arrival with meerkat mascots Aleksandr and Sergei discovering a baby on their doorstep. This is the latest adaptation of the UK campaign for the Australian market, via VCCP.

Custom Plates Victoria has mixed high art and twerking in its latest campaign, which sees a ballerina getting down and dirty with the tagline ‘Keep it classy’.

Big W recently moved its account to Leo Burnett Sydney, and the troubled retailer has gone for a new tagline ‘Think Big’ for this execution highlighting the good value it offers for money.

Aldi is spruiking its current fitness goods sale with a spoof emotional ad asking ‘Ever feel like there’s a premium motorised treadmill shaped hole in your life?’ before showing how it can fill that void. BMF is Aldi’s agency of record.

NRMA is celebrating its customers’ homes with a one-minute ad showing the variety of places it insures using the infectious Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros track ‘Home’. M&C Saatchi is NRMA’s agency of record.

AHM health insurance takes off the current fad for Oculus Rift in its latest ad from DDB Melbourne, with a woman ‘inside the matrix’ comparing the best deals.
