Andy Lee panel show The Hundred gets launch date

Nine has announced the launch date of The Hundred, a new primetime panel show hosted by Andy Lee.

The comedy panel show will premiere on Tuesday 10 August after The Block on Channel 9.

The Hundred hosted by Andy Lee

The weekly one hour show will poll 100 everyday Australians live via Zoom asking questions such as: “How many Australians have been arrested? Have you ever dumped your partner by text? How many of us believe in God? Have you ever parked in a disabled spot? Who has never tried Vegemite?”.

Three comedy panelists each week will then compete to see who knows Australia best.

Mike Goldstein will join Lee every week, along with other celebrity guests such as Tom Gleeson, Hamish Blake, Becky Lucas, Rhys Nicholson, Sophie Monk, Sam Campbell, Nikki Britton, and Aaron Chen.

Host Andy Lee

It’s not the first time Lee has hosted his own TV show. Most recently, he was host of Ten’s The Cube, which launched earlier this year.

The Cube began with 567,000 metro viewers in February but then fell to 299,000 metro viewers in April.

The Hundred is an original concept developed by Screentime Australia and Andy Lee, in association with Nine.
