Lauren McLaughlin appointed interim CEO of Carsguide.com.au
News Limited has appointed Lauren McLaughlin as interim CEO of the automotive joint venture.

Carsguide.com.au’s board of directors today announced the appointment of Lauren McLaughlin as interim CEO of the automotive joint venture.
Carsguide.com.au chairman Greg Duncan stated: “Lauren is exceptionally well qualified for this role with extensive international experience in consulting, acquisitions, analysis, business start-up and development, as well as owning and operating online businesses as COO and CEO.
“Carsguide.com.au is well positioned to move toward the next critical stage of development under Lauren’s guidance and the board looks forward to working closely with her to identify key priorities.”
Ms McLaughlin has held a number of high profile roles in Australia including interim CEO of Lusthaveit!, founder and chief operating officer of Getaway Lounge, head of commercial & business development at BBC Worldwide and strategy manager at Fairfax Media. Her experience spans international roles in the USA, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Lauren holds a degree from Harvard University.
Lauren’s appointment is effective immediately.
