Lee Leggett departs as CEO of Initiative
The CEO of media agency Initiative, Lee Leggett, is departing her role after two years.
The move comes after a successful year in which the agency has won the likes of Simplot, Cancer Council and most recently Specsavers, which it won last week.
It is understood that the departure was announced internally this morning. A spokesman for IPG Mediabrands declined to comment.
Leggett took on the role of Initiative CEO in May of 2014, after seven years at the helm of Dare in the UK.
The departure of Leggett leaves Mindshare’s Katie Rigg-Smith the only female CEO among the 15 biggest multinational media agencies.
The shake up in the senior ranks of IPG Mediabrands comes just a day after the holding group announced it had poached Omnicom’s Leigh Terry to be its APAC boss.
Leggett did not respond to requests for comment.
Shocking decision Danny

Has Lee possibly started full time at Hogarth? (Or it might be another of her consulting gigs.)
