Lego Masters beats Big Brother but Seven gets another nightly win

Lego Masters continues to deliver for Nine, keeping up its run as the top-rating non-news program on Tuesday night with an average metro audience of 725,000.

It outrated Seven’s Big Brother which brought 622,000 metro viewers (slightly down on Monday’s launch) and Ten’s MasterChef Australia on 603,000 metro viewers.

But it wasn’t enough to swing the network share back towards Nine, with Seven taking the win with a 28.1% share ahead of Nine’s 27.8%. Meanwhile, Ten had 19.4% and ABC took a 17.3% network share.

For the second successive night, Lego Masters took out the People 25-54 advertising demo, but Big Brother won the other two key demos (16-39 and 18-49).

Among other entertainment programs on the night, Home And Away brought in 629,000 metro viewers for Seven, while ABC’s Old People’s Home For 4 Year Old’s took 621,000 metro viewers.

News programming once again dominated, with Seven News At 6.30 the top-rating program of the night with 973,000 metro viewers.

It rated ahead of Seven News (965,000 metro viewers), Nine News (959,000 metro viewers), Nine News 6:30 (933,000 metro viewers) and A Current Affair (740,000 metro viewers).

The #1 multi-channel of the evening was a tie between 7TWO and 10Bold with a 3.3% share a piece.
