Leigh Small appointed Sydney Fest CEO
Former Sydney Dance Company and Sydney Opera House executive Leigh Small is the new CEO of the Sydney Film Festival.
Small started today, and she will work with festival director Clare Stewart.
The appointment was announced by festival chair Chris Freeland, who emphasised her expertise in sponsorship and administration – which will come in handy given last month’s announcement of increased funding from the NSW government.
The festival will run June 2-14, 2010
