Leo Burnett Sydney expand team

Leo BurnettLeo Burnett Sydney has created four new roles, including a media business director, a PR director and a social media director, following the promotion of Pete Bosilkovski to managing director in August.

Stuart Capel joins the agency as media business director following six years as business director at Initiative, with Phillipa Thomas coming across from Haystac to take on the PR director role.

Coming in as social media director is Naomi Martin, with Sofia Hlinovsky rounding out the appointments as senior account director.

Martin comes across having worked as a social content director, social content manager and community manager at AMV BBDO with Hlinovsky joining after working at Y&R, M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather.

Bosilkovski said: “Our new appointments are direct evidence of our ongoing commitment to evolving our business in line with our clients’ changing needs. These new skillsets will not only add greater depth to our strategic and creative product, but will change the way we think about our clients’ problems and the creative solutions we provide. I’m excited about this new chapter for the agency and where it will take us.”

Leo Burnett Sydney has won Unibet and Woolworths this year.

“I am excited to welcome Stuart, Phillipa, Naomi and Sofia – they are all exceptional talents and are among the industry’s best. Having hit the ground running, each is already applying their considerable skills to make an immediate impact on our agency and our clients,” said Bosilkovski.
