LGBTQI+ influencer marketplace Joocd unveiled
Nigel Hickey and Mark Alexander have partnered to launch Sydney headquartered LGBTQI+ influencer marketplace, Joocd.
Hickey is the former managing director of The Mark Edwards Agency. As of January he is also the group managing director of Bamboo Marketing, which Alexander founded in 2004.
The new platform will connect brands and agencies with LGBTQI+ influencers based on campaign objectives and audience targeting. The platform will also offer brands audience analytics and insights that will use artificial technology to sift through accounts with fake follower numbers.
Joocd will also provide marketers with estimated market price of a post is based the influencer, their location and engagement stats.
Co-founder and group managing director, Nigel Hickey, commented: “We wanted to create a marketplace with which brands could strategically partner with the LGBTQI+ community at scale. When done right, we know influencer marketing is highly effective.
“Getting it right, means brands, agencies and influencers need transparency in authentication and audience insights to forge the right partnership.”
The platform will launch in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA. The office will be based in Sydney.
Joocd.com says it will donate 10% of all profit to LGBTQI+ community projects nominated by their influencer network.
