Liam Hale joins Mindshare as director of its Nike account
Group M’s Mindshare has appointed Liam Hale as its client director on the Nike account.
Hale replaces Jane Kennedy-Good, who has been promoted to a senior planning role on the Treasury Wine Estates account.
The Nike client director joins Mindshare from Dentsu Aegis Network’s Vizeum, where he was a digital director for two years.
During his time at Vizeum, Hale worked with clients including MINI, Sonos, AFL, Racing Victoria, MRC and Asahi Premium Beverages.
“In Mindshare I saw a model that encourages genuine collaboration to deliver client value.
“In Nike, I saw a brand that inspires every athlete and innovates every medium every single day. I’m excited to have joined the GroupM family,” Hale said in a statement.
Mindshare won Nike’s media account from Razor in 2013.
Hale will report to Mindshare Melbourne’s managing director, Helena Snowdon.
“I’m thrilled Liam has joined us to take the lead on our Nike business. The team is in great shape and I know having worked with Liam previously that he will keep up the momentum and keep pushing the boundaries in innovation.
“Jane has done a fantastic job on Nike and has built a rare hybrid skillset over her career. I’m equally thrilled to see her move within our team to such a key role. Keeping our best people and developing their careers remains core to our business and culture,” Snowdon added.
Well done Liam, sounds like a great opportunity for you!
