The Liberal Party of Australia seeking creative agency for 2018 Victorian election campaign

The Liberal Party of Australia is seeking a creative agency for the 2018 state election campaign in Victoria.

The party has called for expressions of interest from creative agencies and said it is looking for “a new, innovative approach” to communicate the party’s vision, in the hopes of making Matthew Guy the new premier of Victoria.

Agencies interested are required to submit their credentials as well as 800 words explaining how they would approach the communication strategy for the 2018 election, keeping in mind the vision of Guy.

“Our campaign preparation is well underway which is why we want to hear agencies’ ideas on how to make Matthew Guy the next premier of Victoria,” a party spokesperson said.

“We want to see what ideas there are in the market and won’t be afraid to look at unusual or different pitches, as it is really important for us to get our messages through the ‘clutter’ and into the households of swinging voters.”

Mumbrella understands a formal request for tender will be issued later this year, once the party has assessed initial concepts and credentials.

Expressions of interest can be sent until Monday May 22
