Liquid Ideas hires general manager Cleo Posa from BBE

Communications agency Liquid Ideas has appointed Cleo Posa to the newly created role of general manager.

Posa was formerly the communications and content director for BBE, the data and technology development business recently acquired by Ben Lilley’s Hero.

She spent over five years with the business, starting out as an account director before working her way up to becoming responsible for the development of the agency’s content and communications functions. Previously, she has spent time at One Green Bean and Edelman.

Posa said Liquid Ideas stood out for its work in earned media.

“Liquid Ideas lives, breathes and of course drinks in all things culture, so it’s no surprise they’ve been kicking goals for some of Australia’s best consumer lifestyle brands for 21 years. I couldn’t be more excited to join the clever and creative team, and contribute to and continue this legacy,” Posa said.

“It’s clear to me that Liquid Ideas has an unparalleled understanding of earned media. I’m looking forward to building on this and leading the agency into its next stage of growth, as we continue to expand our integrated offering across content and social media.”

A reorganisation in the agency’s senior leadership team has also seen Frankie Gallucci named client and culture director, Gill O’Young become client services director and Millie Friend appointed client and planning director.

Hospitality and media director, Sally Lewis, welcomed Posa to the team.

“We love her energy and her ideas; she’s clever, dynamic and brings exciting new ways of thinking to the future of Liquid Ideas.

“We’ve started 2021 with a fantastic group of clients, a gun GM joining the team, and the best staff in the business – life is good.”

Liquid Ideas’ client list includes Four Pillars Gin, Luna Park,  Point Leo Estate, Shaw + Smith, Singapore Airlines and Universal Sony Home Entertainment.

Last year, the agency also added Pernod Ricard Winemakers and Lion to its roster.
