Liquid Ideas wins Universal Sony Home Entertainment and makes six new appointments
Public relations agency Liquid Ideas has won Universal Sony Home Entertainment’s communications, publicity, influencer marketing, and content accounts, Mumbrella can reveal.
The agency has also hired six new staff members, including appointing Fie Lyster as its social media strategist and creative.
Lyster joins the agency from Agency Spring in Denmark where she was a digital creative and copywriter.
Prior to her stint at Agency Spring she was a creative and social media manager at Publicis Media in Denmark.
Thom Landers has also joined the team as a senior client director.
Landers joins Liquid Ideas from Edelman where he was a senior account director for almost a year.
In addition, Emma Hutton has been hired as an account manager, while Alex Metros and Gabriella Kwok join as senior account executives.
Neha Lokesh has also started at Liquid Ideas as an account executive.
The new appointments come one year after Narelle Craig joined the agency as its first ever CEO.
“It’s been a stellar start to Liquid’s next chapters as we continue to keep growing our hospitality heritage as well as new lifestyle consumer and FMCG sectors.
“Equally exciting is the brilliant additions to our already fantastic Liquid team. The sky’s the limit, and there’s more to come,” Craig said in a statement.
Cindy McCulloch, director of marketing and corporate strategy at Universal Home Entertainment said Liquid Ideas had impressed the brand with its “progressive communications vision”.
“Their mix of consumer and lifestyle client experience, together with their valued focus on team and culture, is an exciting partnership and we couldn’t be more thrilled to appoint them to our business,” McCulloch said.
As well as winning Universal Sony Home Entertainment’s PR account, Liquid Ideas has expanded its work with the De’Longhi business picking up its PR, social, content, influencer and advocacy work.
Liquid Ideas’ clients include Unilever, Singapore Airlines, Kenwood, Kellogg’s, Beam Suntory, The Lucas Group, Four Pillars, Pt. Leo Estate, RUOK?, OzHarvest and Voyager Wines.

Guessing Narelle’s non-compete period with M&C/Bang/Hidden Characters has just expired (it’s been a while!) and her account has come with her..

Nice one to the LI clique. We like what we see! Oh and to the above comment. I believe Bing Lee are still flogging DVD players at a reasonable price.
