Lizzo to headline Nova’s Red Room in 2020
Nova’s Red Room continues to build on its success in 2020 with the announcement of Lizzo for a show in January.

SMASH HIT SUPERSTAR LIZZO – LIVE IN NOVA’S RED ROOM
Lizzo, one of the world’s hottest artists of 2019, is set to perform live in Nova’s Red Room on Seadeck, Sydney Harbour in January 2020.
After a massive year for Nova’s Red Room, with performances by 26 of some of the world’s biggest artists, 2020 is set to start with a bang with the announcement that American singer, rapper and songwriter Lizzo will join the alumni of artists to perform in intimate venues exclusive for Nova fans.
Showing off her true vocal range with a stirring performance of her single “Jerome” at the American Music Awards, Lizzo heads to Australia for FOMO Festival and some sideshows in January.
Lizzo began her career in Minneapolis releasing two studio albums, Lizzobangers in 2013 and Big Grrrl Small World in 2015. Following the release of her first major-label EP Coconut Oil, Lizzo crossed over into the mainstream with her third album Cuz I Love You this year. The album peaked inside the top five of the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles: “Juice” and “Tempo”. The deluxe version of the album included her 2017 single “Truth Hurts”, which became a mega hit and topped the Billboard Hot 100 two years after its initial release. Lizzo’s 2016 single “Good as Hell” also climbed the charts, reaching the top ten of the UK Singles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100.
Lizzo has been nominated for Best New Artist and received eight nominations at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for the deluxe version of Cuz I Love You and Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Truth Hurts”.

Established in 2012, over 250 artists have performed in Nova’s Red Room including Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Tones and I and Billie Eilish.
