Long road ahead for Ten’s digital channel One
The scale of the task faced by the free TV networks in building audiences to their digital offerings has been underlined by the first information on the ratings performance of Ten’s sports channel One.
Yesterday only two of One’s shows drew enough of an audience to register with OzTam’s preliminary ratings – Tread BMX at 7pm pulled in an estimated metro audience of 53,000 and Sports Tonight – The Weekend Wrap at 7.30pm drew 53,000.
Seven and Nine are yet to launch their digital channels.
