Longtail appoints Mark Fretten to creative director role
Perth creative agency Longtail has appointed Mark Fretten to the role of creative director across Perth and Sydney.
Fretten replaces Josh Edge who left in 2016 to join the Meerkats as creative director. He joins the agency from Cheil London where he worked with clients including Samsung.
During his time in London, Fretten’s work won three Cannes Lions, four Lovie Awards and two Webbys.
Fretten has also worked as a creative at Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis London.
Carlo Bertozzi, CEO and founder of Longtail said Fretten had “evolved a rare and proven skill-set” across social, digital and technology.
Fretten said in a statement: “As clients look for ever more personalised engagements with their customers, they’re demanding more than just campaign-based marketing from their agencies.”
He added Longtail was “uniquely qualified” to deliver marketing communications with technology and data insight.
Longtail’s current clients include Kellogg’s, Carsales, Discovery Networks and Amnesty International.
Fretten will commence his new role in April.
