MAFS gives Nine a special valentines gift

Nine’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) topped entertainment on Tuesday night, while also winning all three key advertising demos.

While the reality show  has dropped since last Sunday’s high, it brought in 762,000 metro viewers last night. Ten’s Australian Survivor and Seven’s Australian Idol both saw a similar story, as they aired to 465,000 and 420,000 metro viewers respectively on Tuesday.

Following MAFS in entertainment was The Chase Australia on Seven with 473,000 metro viewers, and the network’s Home and Away with 472,000.

The Hundred with Andy Lee brought in 381,000 metro audience, following its launch last Tuesday to 446,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Tuesday night was Seven News with 877,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 865,000 and Nine News at 6:30 with 804,000.

Nine Network won the overall share with 33%, followed by Seven with 27.8%, Ten with 16.9% and ABC with 14.2%.

The top-rated primary channel on Tuesday was Nine with a 25.8% share. However, the top-rated multichannel was 7mate with 3%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 7 February, MAFS last Tuesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.856 million Total TV viewers, including 590,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 68%.
