Magic salad plate is MADC favourite
After impressing the Effies effectiveness awards jury last week, Clemenger BBDO’s magic salad plate has repeated the trick at the MADC Awards in Melbourne.
The Four N Twenty plate won best in show on Friday night, following its three awards at the Effies the day before.
At the time of posting, MADC was unable to provide a full list of winners.
The Effies excel because they actually look at effectiveness.
In this case volume growth of over 25% and sales growth of over 36% for the range is impressive and demonstrates that creativity and continuity across the range is still key.

It’s a funny, brilliant concept, based on a real life truth. And a truth that’s not necessarily from the world of we Late sipping communication people. And it sells as well.
This is what advertising should be about … but seldom is.
