Magnum & Co wins Australian Blueberries’ PR account

Australian Blueberries has appointed Magnum & Co as its PR agency of record, following a competitive pitch process.

The appointment will see Magnum & Co bring its consumer brand campaign to fruition which includes video marketing, social media, digital, public relations and influencer marketing.

This is the third account win for the agency in three months as the agency won both Pooled Energy and HomeAway’s PR accounts.

Carl Moggridge, who was appointed as managing director in March, said in a statement: “We are delighted to be appointed by ABGA as its agency of record and helping the team promote such a celebrated fruit as the Australian blueberry. Most importantly, we’re looking forward to seeing our work support Australian growers and make us all just that little bit healthier.”

Alex Smith, executive director at the Australian Blueberries Growers Association, added: “As the blueberry industry ramps up supply to keep up with the nation’s racing demand, we need to take our communication to our consumers to the next level. We look forward to working collaboratively with such an impressive team.”

In September last year the agency also won the PR account for Australian Mangoes.
