Man of Many appoints Tim Fernandes as sales and partnerships manager

Men’s lifestyle publication Man of Many has appointed Tim Fernandes as its sales and partnerships manager.

Fernandes joins from Australian Men’s Fitness where he was commercial director.

Fernandes joins with six years of experience in advertising, sales and partnerships at Men’s Fitness, including working with brands like Under Armour, Harley Davidson, Coopers, JBL and Gillette.

Fernandes said he was excited to move into digital after a career in print.

“It’s been fantastic to cut my teeth in print media and focus on the fitness end of the men’s lifestyle category, but I’m excited to now expand into broader cultural passions of the Australian men’s market and launch into the digitally focused future at Man of Many,” Fernandes said.

“There’s so much potential for growth and expansion at Man of Many and I feel like we’re only scratching the surface right now. It’s a great time to be involved.” he said.

The role is a new one for Man of Many, following 12 months of solid growth for the publication. According to Nielsen data, over the last year Man of Many has almost tripled its audience, with 10.5% growth in July alone, making it the biggest dedicated men’s lifestyle publication.

Co-founders Scott Purcell and Frank Arthur said “Fernandes’ appointment is a testament to his passion for delivering value for both our clients and our readers which made him a natural fit for us. It’s also an ideal opportunity to drive revenue growth by expanding the Man of Many network beyond digital publishing into social video series, events, podcasts, as well as e-commerce and product collaborations with brands that we love.”

“As a young company, we credit our growth to the quality of our native content and our commitment to our clients.”
