Mara Lee made editor of Diabetic Living
Editor Mara Lee has left Family Circle magazine to start as editor of Diabetic Living from today.
The announcement:
Wednesday 9th April, 2014 – Pacific Magazines today announced the appointment of Mara Lee as editor, Diabetic Living.
Karen Deveson, Publisher, comments, “Mara’s reputation, insight and wealth of magazine and broader media experience will bring new opportunities to the Diabetic Living brand.
We’re thrilled to have her on board at Diabetic Living as we set the right foundation for continued market growth.”
Mara Lee joins from Family Circle, where she held the position of editor. Mara has had over 20 years of publishing experience, including editorships at Bride to Be and Practical Parenting.
Mara was also a regular commentator on health and parenting issues on morning television shows, including Mornings with Kerrie-Anne, Sunrise and The Morning Show. She has also published two successful parenting books.
Mara adds; “Being diagnosed with diabetes turns your world upside down. Diabetic Living is there to help set this new world to rights. I’m immensely proud to head up the team of experts at Diabetic Living to help make life happier, healthier and easier for the 1-million-plus Australians currently living with diabetes.”
Mara’s appointment is effective as from April 9, 2014.
