Margaret River to host creative festival in 2016

Margaret River has been named as the host destination of the annual Emergence Creative Festival and Conference next March.

The announcement: 

Dates for the 2016 Emergence Creative Festival and Conference held in Margaret River have today been officially announced as Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th March, 2016.

Emergence is the State of the Union for Australia’s creative industries. Each year, creative entrepreneurs, thought leaders, change-makers and professionals from music, film, advertising, digital and the visual arts travel to one of the world’s most beautiful locations, Margaret River, for a world-class conference embedded in a mind-blowing creative festival.

By bringing together creatives from a wide range of areas, the four-day event encourages participants to look beyond their own specialisation and broaden their thinking, leaving them inspired, refreshed and ready to create something great.

But it’s not just a conference: there are concerts showcasing the country’s best emerging musical acts, exhibitions with work by local artists, meals in the region’s famous wineries, light installations and countless other happenings.

Coming into its fourth year, run by the Creative Corner, Emergence Creative has attracted the likes of famed American music producer PJ Bloom, Christian Van Vuuren (Bondi Hipsters, Soul Mates), the Gruen Transfer’s Carolyn Miller, Google’s Lee Hunter and a host of others and is set to release a stellar line-up of speakers for the 2016 event.
