Margaux Parker to take over from Robin Bailey on Triple M Brisbane’s The Big Breakfast

Margaux Parker will be returning to Triple M, where she made her radio debut, from September 30, joining Brisbane’s The Big Breakfast with Greg ‘Marto’ Martin and Nick Cody.

Parker will be taking over from Robin Bailey who farewelled audiences this week as she departs to care for her husband, Sean Pickwell, who is battling cancer.

Triple M content director Rex Morris welcomes Parker ‘home’ to the station.

“Margaux is no stranger to many of us, having made her on air debut with Triple M on Dead Set Legends on the weekends, before transitioning to her first permanent role with the Rush Hour in 2018,” he said.

“She joins us from 92.5 Gold FM on the Gold Coast where she currently co-hosts the number one drive home show alongside Luke Bradnam.”

Parker will join Southern Cross Austereo’s Triple M from the company’s 92.5 Gold FM which is part of SCA’s Local Works network.

Bailey announced in September she would be leaving the network to spend time with her husband. She joined Triple M in 2016 and has been part of various line ups since then. Triple M’s The Big Breakfast currently holds a share of 11.2% share, behind Nova 106.9’s 12.7%.

“Margaux is a Logan local, mum of four, and wife of former Bronco and Origin great Corey Parker and we are looking forward to welcoming her back to the Triple M Brisbane family,” said Morris.

Parker’s first day with Triple M Brisbane will be live from Riverfire on September 28, before joining the Big Breakfast on September 30.
