Marketech calls traditional brokers dinosaurs via Yell Creative

Fintech brand Marketech has launched a new campaign via Yell Creative.

The campaign is the first campaign Marketech has done with the financial service marketing agency.

The campaign’s tagline, ‘Are you trading with a dinosaur?’ is being featured on billboards across Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

Travis Clark, managing director at Marketech, said: “We believe Marketech is the difference between ‘average and alpha’, a trading term that captures how we can help deliver outperformance. Our combination of trading tools, live data and the potentially huge savings on trading fees they can achieve by moving from established brokers, gives our customers that advantage.

“When we saw the dinosaur concept, we knew it was the perfect way to tell the story of how we’ve evolved beyond the limited and expensive trading products that should really now be extinct.”

The campaign features digital, outdoor, and targeted TVC, which is being handled by Ptarmigan Media. Mumbrella understands that the TVC is yet to be released.

“We see a return to the workplace in CBDs happening across Australia and given the nature of the audience, it’s a great opportunity to create brand awareness through maximising transport out of home as a key component of the campaign,” said Mary Hughes, Ptarmigan Media’s Australian managing director.
