The announcement:

Maud continues to grow its Sydney practice with three new hires following a streak of new projects from clients including the University of Sydney, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Jurlique, Accor, Lend Lease, Chifley, and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Camilla Belton has joined Maud as Writer and Editor overseeing the studio’s new branded content and editorial division. She joins from Winkreative studio in London, founded by publisher Tyler Brûlé in 1998, where she was copywriter and editor. She has also edited a number of acclaimed design books and interiors magazines.

Richard Smalley and Adam Vella have also joined Maud’s design team. Originally from the UK, Smalley has also worked at Moon Design and Reform Creative, while Vella joins the studio full-time after first freelancing for Maud as an intern back in 2012.

“It is shaping up to be a huge year at Maud thanks to an influx of new client wins over the past few months, so it is great to welcome Camilla, Richard and Adam to our team. Richard and Adam are two of Sydney’s most beguiling designers, while Camilla is an expert editor and the perfect person to lead our editorial offering,” says David Park, founder and Creative Director at Maud.

Recent Maud projects include work for David Jones, Toby’s Estate, Marcs, Single Origin Roasters, Tony Ferguson, Diageo, Semi-Permanent, IKEA Australia, and many others.
