Maximus Isotonic Sports Drink aims to help Sydney sober up
Maximus Isotonic Sports Drink has launched a campaign promoting the sports drink as a tool to help Sydney sober up.
The campaign saw the brand send out its “Sober Squad” to locations including Kings Cross and George Street over the weekend to give out one litre bottles to thousands of Sydney socialisers to promote its message “be a mate and hydrate” and the brand aims to highlight the importance of hydrating on a night out.
A Maximus spokesperson said in a statement: “Hydrating is a big part of being responsible when out socialising with friends and we thought we’d remind people of this in a fun way with the Maximus Sober Squad.”
The ‘Sober Squad’ wore official uniforms and wielded breathalysers as they handed out bottles of the sports drink.
Great to see a somebody is brave enough to get involved.
Well done Maximus

I prefer my Sports drink the day after, but still a good idea nonetheless…

Good to see a brand embracing how consumers use their product, not how they want them to use their product…a la Berocca “big night?” “no big day…” campaign.
