M&C Saatchi makes flying elephant Facebook game for Optus Qantas tie-up
M&C Saatchi has developed a Facebook game for Optus featuring flying elephants to further promote its new alliance with Qantas.
The ‘Optus Elephant Air Race’ sees players create their own flying elephant to race around the world using Qantas routes.
Players can travel one route a day for 10 days and earn ‘air speed’ via codewords distributed on Facebook, Twitter, Hot Hits and Nova radio shows and by getting Facebook friends to vote for them.
Each day, players with the fastest elephants will win Blackberry and Huawei mobile phones with the fastest time over the 10 days winning a $10,000 Qantas voucher.
The game follows other ‘flying elephant’ activity by Optus to promote the Qantas partnership.
