M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment launch Talent Management venture

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Australia has launched into athlete and talent management, with Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff, a former England cricket captain, as their first signing.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Australia has launched into athlete and talent management with former England cricket captain and BBC Sports Personality of the year Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff their first signing.

In conjunction with UK agency M&C Saatchi Merlin, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will be Flintoff’s exclusive agent in Australia.

“To be representing one of the biggest names in international cricket, and one so synonymous with the Ashes and the great Aussie/English rivalry is a great way to launch this new part of the Sport & Entertainment offering,” said M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Managing Director Jamie Gilbert-Smith.

“We are really excited to be working with Freddie and partnering him with some iconic Australian brands over the summer”.

Flintoff, a dynamic all rounder, starred for England in their epic 2005 Ashes triumph, famously commiserating with Brett Lee on-field.

Since retiring from cricket in 2010, “Freddie” has gone on to become a popular cricket presenter on UK TV and has fronted campaigns for brands throughout Europe.

Outside his burgeoning media career, Flintoff is committed to his children’s charity the AF Foundation which raises funds to build, develop and improve child rehabilitation & physiotherapy units throughout the UK.
