M&C wins Freedom Furniture
M&C Saatchi has been confirmed as the winner of the $10m Freedom Furniture pitch, as predicted by Mumbrella last month.
Simon Sproule, head of marketing at Freedom, said: “The level of strategic thinking was very strong, as were the creative and the digital responses. We also had a sense that there will be a strong cultural fit between our business and M&C Saatchi.”
The two year contract begins next month. The account was previously held by The Foundry. BMF and DDB were also involved in the pitch, said M&C Saatchi CEO Mike Abel. “These are two outstanding creative agencies so we were etsted in good company,” he added.
The win is the latest in a good start to the year for the agency, which picked up Mitre 10 last month.
