Solid debut for Ten’s Life on Mars but Seven wins the night

Ten had a better ratings night yesterday, with the debut of the US version of Life on Mars drawing in 1.1m and Law and Order SVU pulling in 1.2m.  

But Seven still won the night with a 29.6% share. Ten was second with a strong (for the network) 25.7 %, followed by Nine with 23.9%. ABC took 15.2% and SBS 5.6%.

Why would you possibly watch the American version of Life on Mars when it is a total copy of the UK version, which is so much better. Show some originality!
