McCann Melbourne appoints Aaron Lipson to associate creative director

McCann Melbourne has appointed Aaron Lipson as its associate creative director.

Most recently senior art director at Cummins & Partners Melbourne, Lipson has spent the majority of his career as a freelance art director, working across agencies including Clemenger, DDB and Ogilvy.

He’s previously worked on brands including Nike, Jeep, Specsavers, John West and Heinz, and is a regular tutor and lecturer at AWARD School and ADMA Creative School.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the ranks of McCann Melbourne,” said Lipson. “I have long admired the work they have consistently done. It’s great to be on board and working with a fantastic group of people and clients.”

Georgie Pownall, who was appointed as McCann Melbourne’s managing director in September, said: “I’m chuffed that Az and I get to work together again, and that he’s come on board for this journey.”

McCann Melbourne creative director Andrew Woodhead added: “We’re all excited to have Aaron on board. His work speaks for itself. He is an extremely welcome and valuable addition to our creative department.”
