McDonald’s launches Squid Game meal – Breaking Bad meth-blue shake next?
McDonald’s Australia has teamed with Netflix for a Squid Game Meal, an interesting move from a family-friendly restaurant chain that once gave away Muppet Babies toys with its meals.
Dr Mumbo can exclusively reveal this is the first in a series of exciting meal collaborations between Netflix and McDonald’s.
Next month will see the launch of the Heisenburger meal to celebrate the return of Breaking Bad to streaming. The meal comes with a meth-blue thick shake, in honour of the popular blue-coloured crystal meth the show’s main characters manufacture.
Following this will be The 50 Shades Of Grey ‘midnight snack meal’, and a drink “influenced by certain events in 2023 film, Saltburn” – but which Dr. Mumbo can get no further clarification on.
Further to this, for the entire month of January, all McDonald’s drive-through loops will enjoy increased speed limits to 120km/hr, in honour of the forthcoming Fast and the Furious film.
This is a developing story.

I think its totally inappropriate. Squid games is so violent and gruesome and should not be marketed in this way.

Maybe because the TV show about killing each other is really popular?

Yeah a bit on the nose isn’t it, a couple days after Luigi was caught in a maccas!

Dad, did you write this?

It seems to have escaped any attention that the name of the show includes the word ‘SQUID’, yet the Squid….Meal contains no squid, only chicken pink slime nuggets.

This is a continuation of the adult happy meals, as the series of adult happy meals began with giving out an official collectible McDonald’s cup, and now with the squid game meal. This is not targeted to children at all. Neither is Breaking bad or 50 shades of gray meals. Just fyi.
