Brisbane independent media agency Media Circus to move client list to MEC

GroupM media agency MEC is to expand its Brisbane client list, taking on local brands including Choices Flooring, TradeTools, Maytronics and Queensland Master Builders after it reached a deal with independent Media Circus whose founder Teena Jameson is retiring.

Jameson, who is both a founder and managing director of Media Circus made the deal which will see MEC increase its footprint in the market significantly.

MEC CEO, James Hier, said in a statement: “Strengthening our national presence is a priority for MEC, and this bolstering of our Brisbane offering is another demonstration of our commitment to the market and our existing clients here.

Jane has done an outstanding job growing our business to date and the opportunity to bring on more clients and staff will further boost our overall strength in the market, to the benefit of existing and new clients.”
