Media Advisor, a media buying platform for SMEs, to launch next month

Media Advisor, an online marketplace that connects advertisers directly to media owners, is set to launch next month.

The service is targeted at small to medium businesses wanting to buy ad space at a cheaper price, with Media Advisor receiving a transaction fee from the media owner.

Self-described as “the first platform of its type in the market”, the launch follows a market test carried out last year with selected media companies and advertisers.

Media Advisor’s offering will launch in September

“Marketers and SMEs can use Media Advisor to search for media options that cater for them and deliver to their chosen target demographics, verticals and desired geographical coverage,” said managing director Himanshu Arora.

Marketers can also contact the media companies of their choice from within the Media Advisor platform. Media options categories [sic] includes pretty much everything that offers advertisement avenue [sic] such as magazines, directories, radio, TV, newspaper, outdoor, billboards, exhibitions, conferences, digital, flyers etc.”

Registration for the service is free, with Media Advisor guaranteeing the “lowest quotes for your ad requirements” and planning on expanding to offer marketing strategy, media planning and buying services.

“Advertisement design concepts is another area where we are developing solutions for users of the Media Advisor platform,” added Arora.

Arora is joined by “a core group of media and marketing professionals working with developers” in addition to investors.
