Daniels will oversee the company’s expansion plans as it looks to produce more video content, particularly online.

He was previously executive producer of content at ARN, and has also worked as a senior producer in network television both locally and oversees.

The development comes as Media Heads, in conjunction with ARN, readies the launche of a new weekly radio programme, The Money Show.

Hosted by finance expert Paul Clitheroe and lifestyle guru Deborah Hutton, it will provide financial and lifestyle advice to listeners and air on ARN stations from 9-10am, 8 November.

Media Heads’ strategy to widen its expertise, comes as competition among the production houses intensifies.

Fremantle Media has brought former Network Ten executive Tim Clucas into the new role of director of programming, while Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Rupert Murdoch, prepares to launch her production group in Australia and New Zealand next year.
