Mediacom wins Devondale, Danone and Nutricia media

Mediacom has won the consolidated media account for Devondale, Danone and Nutricia.

The announcement:

In a unique industry direction the DEVONDALE, DANONE and NUTRICIA brands have joined together to consolidate media planning & buying arrangements into MediaCom for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

DEVONDALE, owned by Australia’s largest dairy farmer co-operative MURRAY GOULBURN, is a long term client of MediaCom Melbourne. Due to a recent joint venture between DANONE, world’s number one fresh dairy manufacturer, and MURRAY GOULBURN to re-launch the DANONE brand yogurts in Australia, the opportunity arose to partner with NUTRICIA, a subsidiary of DANONE. NUTRICIA is recognised as a leading expert in infant nutrition and is the manufacturer of Karicare Infant Formula and Toddler Supplement across ANZ. With this partnership, the three companies are able to consolidated media services across both Australia and New Zealand. NUTRICIA’s previous agency was OMD Sydney.

This caps off a great year for MediaCom nationally which has won a number of high profile clients including Blackmores, YUM!, IAG, NRMA, Amaysim and Pacific Brands. These wins alongside MG DANONE / NUTRICIA have seen MediaCom increase their billings by over $140m across 2010.

MediaCom will take on MG DANONE / NUTRICIA with immediate effect.
