Menulog and Wu-Tang offer ‘Dolla Dolla Deals Y’all’ in new brand platform via Thinkerbell

Delivery service Menulog has launched its latest brand platform, ‘Dolla Dolla Deals’, featuring Inspectah Deck from the Wu-Tang Clan.

Developed by Thinkerbell in collaboration with Menulog Australia, the platform highlights the daily deals Menulog offers customers, to help Aussies living on a budget.

The campaign is set to Wu-Tang Clan’s track C.R.E.A.M (Cash Rules Everything Around Me), originally co-written by Inspectah Deck. It parodies the famous line, ‘Dolla Dolla Bills Y’all’.

Inspectah Deck said: “Menulog are true champions with how many deals and dolla dolla bills they’re splashing to give people the best value everyday.”

Sesh Moodley, head creative tinker, said: “Menulog has a really strong connection to music and pop culture in particular, being famous for their ‘Did Somebody Say’ tracks with Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry.

“When we were briefed to come up with a value platform it was a no brainer to hit up Wu-Tang Clan, arguably the greatest and most influential group in hip hop history. The C.R.E.A.M track was the perfect fit.”

Menulog Australia marketing director, Simon Cheng, added: “Menulog has been delivering joy to Australia for over 17 years now and Dolla Dolla Deals is our commitment to providing the best value to Aussies when we all need it most.

“We encourage everyone to jump onto the Menulog app and find out what deals and offers are in your area today.”

The new platform will roll out across TV, radio, OOH, earned and social, with more iterations set to launch throughout 2023.
