Menulog will distribute free vouchers, pizza and inflatable lounges across Melbourne and Sydney to celebrate the last few weeks of summer.

Menulog lounges will be distributed across various sites in Sydney and Melbourne.

Menulog lounges will be distributed across various sites in Sydney and Melbourne.

Created by Menulog, Red Agency and its experiential division, Red Gureilla, the campaign will see thousands of Menulog lounges placed around locations including Bondi Beach, Manly Wharf and UNSW in Sydney, as well as St Kilda Beach, University of Melbourne and Monash University in Melbourne.

As part of the launch, a competition will run which will give one person from Sydney and one from Melbourne free Menulog dinners for the next three months.

Bondi Rescue lifeguards, ‘Reidy’ and ‘Whippet’ will kick off the competition on 19 February at Bondi Beach, encouraging competitors to blow up as many Menulog lounges as they can in one minute. A competition will be held in Melbourne on 26 February.

Anyone who visits the activation can pre-order access to an inflatable lounge by logging onto the app and adding ‘Menulog Summer’ as the suburb.

Menulog lounges will be available to anyone that comes down to see the team in green, and orders a free inflatable via the Menulog app by adding ‘Menulog Summer’ as the suburb. In addition, Menulog will be giving away “unlimited” green lounges “to encourage every Aussie to enjoy the last weeks of summer in comfort”.

Tasman Page, spokesperson for Menulog said the beach was a perfect place for people to relax and enjoy their foods.

“People have been loving our Menulog lounges so we thought we’d bring them on mass to help Aussies enjoy the final few weeks of summer,” Page said.

“We’re excited to provide a few of the comforts of home in some of Sydney and Melbourne’s top summer spots, and of course, see how the two cities fare in the inflatable competition.”
