Michael Buckley quits as CEO of Amnesia Razorfish

Michael Buckley has quit as CEO of digital agency Amnesia Razorfish Australia. The Publicis Groupe owned agency is not looking for a replacement for his role. Instead, managing director Doug Chapman will head up the agency following a restructure.

Chapman joined Amnesia in 2010 after leaving the agency he founded in the late eighties, The Marketing Store. Amnesia co-founder and chief creative officer Iain McDonald remains part of Amnesia Razorfish’s leadership team.

Razorfish Regional CEO Vincent Digonnet said in a media release: “Doug is an outstanding leader who has demonstrated strong operation management skills in the past two years, earning respect from both clients and staff. We are very proud to have him run our Australian agency and I know he will maintain the spirit and the culture Michael has nurtured and developed.”
